EMERGENCE© is a long, full-spectrum wig, built on a human hair base. The crown is done in blocks of burnt orange, amber, and deep red, lifted with lightener and 6%/20vol developer in stages until each section took the colour properly. With all human hair wigs purchased online there are unpredictability when it comes to lifting the hair. Particularly if there’s a history of compound henna. Of course these wigs can’t speak and declare their colour history so it’s better to go in gently and keep removing it and repeating the process.

The long length underneath is black, with a freehand dappled pattern running through sections.It looks like animal print.The patterns were created on separate wefts sourced from online and applying black permanent tint, cold-rinsed and conditioner to set.There's also colour underneath — teal, electric blue, and golds that drape past the bob shape but not as a jellyfish.

Emergence is part of the Phoenix Collection, alongside the rest of the fire-themed work.
