NEMESIS PRINT© — Split, Patterned & in Print
NEMESIS PRINT© is a study in opposition. The wig is split cleanly down the centre — platinum blonde on one side, jet black on the other — and that boundary is held without compromise. There's no ombré, no melt, no gentle transition zone. Two colours, two identities, one piece.
THE SPLIT
The split is not absol8. Platinum blonde meets black with a vague greyed pattern on the otherside and that line is softened due to the nature of it being created on a wig. — However if it was constructed on a models real hair id be more inclined to create an absolute split for drama and effect. NEMESIS is about holding two opposing identities side by side and letting the contrast do the work.
THE EXTENSIONS
Both sides run long, well past a conventional bob length, dropping past the shoulders. On the blonde side, the extensions carry a hand-painted pattern — tonal work in black and grey that creates visual texture through the lengths, almost like print. On the dark side, the black transitions into a deep, saturated crimson red, glossy at the ends.
THE BEAD CHAIN
A chain of red and dark stones, linked with wire, runs from the parting down through the blonde side. It's both decorative and structural — drawing the eye along the line of the split and adding weight and movement to that half. The beads catch the light against the platinum in the same way the crimson catches it against the black.
THE PIECE
The colour choices were deliberate but instinctive — tones and hues selected for how they sat together rather than plotted in advance.
